CHP Series
CHP 500~1800 Nm³/Hr
INTRODUCTION
The CHP Dryers are electric heat regenerative dryers which regenerates desiccant by expanding a portion of the dried air to atmospheric pressure before heating with electric/steam heater up to a paticular temperature for a given desiccant. This results in very dry purge air which, when passed through the desiccant, picks up and removes the adsorbed moisture. Designed primarily for general plant instrument air service, the CHP Dryers deliver a -40°C atmospheric dew point for flows ranging from 500SCMH to 7800SCMH

FEATURES & BENEFITS
Adsorption(Drying) The wet fluid stream air enters the on-stream tower through the 3-way shuttle valve and passes upward through the desiccant bed, where the water vapor is adsorbed. The clean, dry air then exits the dryer.
Regeneration Heating Regeneration begins with the slow depressurization of the off-stream tower. A small portion of dried air, which is expanded to near-atmospheric pressure and heated to increase its ability to carry water vapor, is headed and passed across the adsorbent bed, countercurrent the the adsorption flow. The liberated moisture is carried out of the bed and into the atmosphere.
Regeneration Cooling When regeneration heating is complete, the cooling cycle begins. The desiccant bed is cooled by purging a small volume of dried air across the bed, with the heater turned off.
